Music The centre of the Music Department’s philosophy is to encourage all pupils to take an active role in music-making, whilst ensuring that all pupils and groups make strong progress and play to the best of their abilities. This is achieved through personal encouragement, frequent solo and group performing opportunities, a professional and dedicated team of Visiting Music Teachers within a positive and vibrant environment. > Music Department Webpage Drama Drama is thriving at Taunton School. There is ever increasing demand for the extensive range of courses and activities available. We are fortunate to have a modern theatre space that is versatile and can be changed to accommodate different staging permutations: End stage, In the Round, Thrust, Traverse. This allows for full-scale musical shows as well as more intimate experimental theatre. We stage an impressive number of productions each year, directed by a variety of staff.
