6th Form at Taunton School - Leadership  Sixth Formers are encouraged to develop their leadership skills throughout the sixth form. All students will undertake a Leadership and Teambuilding Day after their AS examinations – individuals will be challenged in many ways and this excellent day is rounded off with a formal meal for all those involved. Leadership is encouraged through the CCF, Ten Tors, music and drama and it is hoped that senior students will take the initiative in leading their younger counterparts. School Prefects School Prefects are voted in by their peers and the body of some fifteen Upper Sixth students help with the day to day running of the school – they do so with good humour and maturity. They are given specific support and training at the start of the year. Upper Sixth students also act as House Prefects and their presence and leadership in the houses is a contributory factor in the development of such a positive and friendly atmosphere around the campus. |
