End of Term Arrangements:

Carol Services: We very much hope that you will be able to come to our Carol Services on Wednesday, 12 December.  This is our final chance to celebrate together the Joy of the Nativity.

Years 3-5 at 1.30 pm:  In the School Chapel followed by mince pies, tea and coffee in the Old Library.  The children will be looked after at school until the Service for Years 6-8 finishes.

Years 6-8 at 3.15 pm:  In previous years we have been very short of space for the Senior Carol Service in the School Chapel and are conscious that there will again be pressure on seats this year.  Accordingly, could I please ask that younger siblings in the school do not accompany you to the second service of the afternoon?  Both Pre-Prep and the other three years of the Prep School will be operating and able to look after children until the service is over.

PARENTSÕ ASSOCIATION

Christmas Fair: Parents please note the day of the Christmas Fair is a MUFTI day for the   pupils in both Pre-Prep and the Prep School. It would be appreciated if all

pupils could make a donation to the Fair: Pre-Prep children could bring in a cake for the cake stall [to be delivered to the Pre-Prep Hall on Friday,

30 November – the

day of the Christmas

Fair] and Prep School

 pupils an item suitable

for a Christmas Hamper. PLEASE MAKE SURE that all perishable items have a long sell-by date. These hampers will be raffled off at the Fair, so please bring along something nice that you would like to win in a hamper. This could also include wine, spirits, and chocolates, gifts for both adults and children.  If anyone is able to come along on the morning of the Fair and help prepare the hampers, then please put the date in your diary now. More hands make less work for everyone involved!!!

Please remember to look out your "as new" books, toys, comics and DVDs for the stalls at the Fair and leave any items in the Centenary Hall entrance area from Monday, 26 until Thursday, 29 November – the last day for items to be left.

If anyone is able to lend us 30 minutes of their time to help man the tea, cake, raffle and toys/books stalls, please sign up on the rota sheet on the ParentsÕ Association Notice Board in the Parents waiting area in Weirfield.  We would be very grateful for any help on the day.
