The Taunton School Archive
Taunton School is proud of its history. The Archive is based in the
Winterstoke Room of the Old Library at the School and is co-ordinated
by David Bridges from the Taunton School Alumni Office.
 Most of the Archive website photos were taken by Harold
Bennett who was in Fairwater East from 1931 to 1939. Harold
has generously allowed us to use his photos on this website.
Much of the historical information in this site is taken with the
kind permission of John Brown whose book 'Independent
Witness (150 years of Taunton School)' is available from the
School.
If anyone is interested in being a volunteer archivist to help
David Bridges expand our archive,
